Job summary

Parkview Elementary invites a 1.0 FTE Grade 4/5 Teacher for a temporary assignment from immediately to June 30, 2027. The role requires BC certification, a Elementary education degree, and a strong commitment to numeracy and inclusive teaching.

• Engage with parents/guardians and caregivers to discuss progress and strategies.
• Contribute to school-wide programs such as numeracy initiatives and literacy supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Education (Elementary);
• Valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch.

• willingness and commitment to contribute to school wide programs including comprehensive numeracy programs , Heggerty and UFLI;
• ability and commitment to work closely with parents, guardians, and caregivers;
• demonstrated ability to build staff collective efficacy.
