Versfeld & Hugo, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Employment-Based Immigration Paralegal to join our growing practice. This role is critical to supporting attorneys and clients through all stages of the employment-based immigration process. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and experienced in managing immigration matters with precision and professionalism.

• Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to provide case updates, respond to inquiries, and request required information and documentation.
• Email & Correspondence Management: Monitor and respond to client and internal emails promptly, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and clarity in all written communications.
• Form & Petition Preparation: Prepare, review, and complete employment-based immigration forms, petitions, and applications with a high level of attention to detail to minimize errors and delays.
• Phone Communication: Return client calls in a timely manner and provide clear, accurate information while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Document Management: Compile, organize, and maintain legal documents and supporting evidence for immigration filings.
• Case Management & Deadlines: Assist attorneys with managing case files, tracking deadlines, and monitoring case progress using internal case management systems.
• Legal Research: Stay current on employment-based immigration laws, regulations, and procedural updates to support accurate case preparation and client guidance.

• Prior experience as an immigration paralegal or in a related immigration support role required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with L1, O1, H1B, EB1A, and PERM is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immigration case management software.

This is a full-time position with working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, providing flexibility for work-life balance.

Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we offer a 401(k) retirement plan and provide a monthly stipend toward medical insurance, supporting both long-term financial planning and healthcare needs.
