This is a hybrid role, termed Work from Near (WFN). It requires working on-site from our São Paulo - SP or Porto Alegre - RS office throughout the week based on team needs, with flexibility to work remotely on other days. Our WFN culture fosters in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with local and visiting team members from global offices.

As a Mid-Level React Native Developer at Poatek, you’ll influence teammates at various career stages. React Native is new to Poatek, so you will help shape our company’s direction and client relationships based on your experience. You’ll oversee daily engineering operations and influence project outcomes.

• Have 3-5 years of professional programming experience
• Deliver high-quality software confidently by applying critical thinking
• Work closely with clients to influence technical and business decisions
• Stay updated with software engineering best practices, tools, and frameworks
• Understand various software architectures and adapt solutions to unique problems
• Navigate difficult conversations with constructive feedback
• Identify obstacles to improve user experience and software quality
• Be aware of your limitations and open to learning and feedback
• Communicate complex problems clearly to multidisciplinary teams

• Deep JavaScript knowledge; skilled in React.js, TypeScript, and React Native
• Experience with Vue.js, Node.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and unit testing
• Comfortable with Android and iOS SDKs
• Experience developing Hybrid apps and PWAs
• Ability to evaluate frameworks for projects
• Understanding of performance perception and optimization
• Knowledge of server-side and client-side rendering pros and cons
• Experience delivering major features and components
• Experience working with clients and stakeholders empathetically
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture and design
• Proficiency with development tools that enhance efficiency
• Ability to balance business goals and technical constraints

• Passion for Accessibility & Usability
• Expertise with automation tools (virtualization, ML testing, parallelization)
• Understanding of designing RESTful APIs for mobile experiences
• Appreciation for inclusive, responsive UI
• Knowledge of Web Components
• Experience conducting interviews and hiring
• Interest in Big Data, Machine Learning, Voice, AR/VR, Security, IoT
• Code samples or GitHub profile
