Business Overview & Role Description :

This role will support the Asset Management (AM) regional business in Latin America, currently with presence in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and United States.

AM in Latin America represents around $40bln in total assets, delivering global investment solutions to clients in the different regions covered.

The role will require a flexible and dynamic personality who is capable of handling multiple tasks including financial analysis, presentations for senior management, managing and reporting the business P&L, financials planning execution and AM legal entity deliverables.

The role requires a strong connection not only with LatAm teams but also with Finance & Business Management teams based in the United States and Europe.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
  • Manage the business profit / loss, including multi-year planning, definition and tracking of value drivers, annual planning, forecasting, and business growth expense reporting and analysis
  • Coordinate materials for leadership team meetings (e.g. Business Reviews) and external forums as well as ad-hoc analytics and presentations for senior management
  • Lead and execute on Asset Management legal entity related deliverables, including financials reviews and month-end process
  • Develop, coordinate and execute projects across the region as part of the Global Asset Management objectives
  • Assist the business on building and implementing the strategic planning to support long term growth
  • Support regional CEO, US CFO and Regional Business Managers

The Finance & Business Management Associate / VP must be able to :

  • Work independently, possessing energy and confidence to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Interact and communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of management, including executive management of the firm
  • Prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and possess strong attention to detail
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze, synthesize and interpret information
  • Work successfully and efficiently in a team-based environment
  • Utilize judgment and discretion when working with highly confidential information
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • 3 years experience with exposure / involvement in banking or asset management industry
  • Prior experience in Business Management or COO role
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and / or reporting for various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
  • Advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
  • Fluent English, Spanish is a plus
