Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd seeks a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement test processes and fixtures for new products. You will build manufacturing test software and fixtures, install and commission test systems, and review PCB designs for testability.

Training and documentation of test systems are part of the role. Candidate should have a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3 years in test engineering, strong electronics knowledge, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• 3 years of test engineering experience.
• Proficient in Visual Basic, C++, TestStand, LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI; MATLAB a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electronics circuit.
• Familiar with CAN, Ethernet, I2C, RS232.
• Experience with electro-optical test systems (MFT, camera calibration, MIPI CSI) advantageous.
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.

Job Purpose:

• Design, Development and Implementation of test processes, equipment, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing of new products.
• Develop manufacturing test software, system and fixture.
• Install and commission test program and systems.
• Perform circuit board design review for testability and manufacturability.
• Conduct training and provide document of test systems.
• Meet departmental cost / quality / engineering objectives.
• Monitor test yield, take corrective actions and propose cost reductions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• 3 years' experience in test engineering field on related capacity
• Strong programming skill in Visual Basic, C++, TestStand, LabView and LabWindows CVI, knowledge on MATLAB is a plus
• Good knowledge of Electronics Circuit
• Familiar with communication protocol such as CAN, ETHERNET, I2C and RS232
• Experience on electro optical system and test such as MFT, camera intrinsic calibration and digital camera interface such as MIPI CSI is an advantage
• Strong statistical data analysis and problem solving skill
