Job summary

Our Client in Singapore is seeking a capable supervisor to lead testing teams for low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards. The role involves coordinating testing activities, ensuring procedures and safety standards are adhered to, and delivering FAT/FWT with clients.

Training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 5:15 pm, in the North-Senoko area, with a basic salary up to SGD 3,800 plus performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and SLDs.
• No experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team to perform testing of low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards.
• Ensure all testing procedures, checklists, and safety standards are followed.
• Conduct FAT and FWT with clients and perform in-house testing and quality inspections.
• Provide training on safety procedures, testing methods, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain testing tools, calibration, defect reporting and replacements.
• Support quality improvement through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Project Management to review testing procedures and support project execution.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of supervisors, technicians, and assistants to perform testing of low-voltage switchboards and power distribution boards.

• Ensure all testing procedures, checklists, and safety standards are properly followed.

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Factory Witness Tests (FWT) with clients.

• Perform in-house testing and quality inspections such as visual checks and torque tests.

• Provide training on safety procedures, testing methods, and troubleshooting for new staff and products.

• Maintain and manage testing tools, including calibration, defect reporting, and replacements.

• Support quality improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Work closely with the Project Management team to review testing procedures and support project execution.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering
