Harish Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Brazil’s Região Norte seeks an experienced Tendering/Estimating leader to influence electrical contracting bids. You will review documents, quantify scope, and prepare BOQs while coordinating with clients and main contractors to meet deadlines.

Your role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, ensuring accurate submissions and sound pricing strategies across projects. This position is based on-site with regional stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in tendering/estimating within electrical contracting or subcontracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in tendering software, MS Office, and cost estimation tools.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Tender Management: Review, analyze, and evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications, identify scope, risks, and opportunities for electrical subcontracting, prepare cost estimates and BOQs, coordinate clarifications with stakeholders, ensure timely submissions.
• Coordination & Teamwork: Work with engineering, procurement, project teams; liaise with suppliers for quotations and data; collaborate with finance on pricing and terms.
• Negotiation & Finalization: Support commercial negotiations with contractors/clients and protect company interests in contracts and handovers to the project team.
• Market & Strategy: Track tenders and opportunities, maintain stakeholder relationships, analyze competitor pricing and market trends to improve bid strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management

• Review, analyze, and evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Identify scope of work, risks, and opportunities for electrical subcontracting.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and technical submissions.
• Coordinate clarifications with main contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines.

Coordination & Teamwork

• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotations and technical data.
• Collaborate with finance for pricing strategies, payment terms, and risk assessments.

Negotiation & Finalization

• Support commercial negotiations with contractors/clients.
• Ensure the company’s interests are protected in contracts and agreements.
• Provide handover to the project execution team upon award of contracts.

Market & Strategy

• Track upcoming tenders and business opportunities in the market.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers).
• Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to improve bid strategies.
