Job summary

Good Job Creations is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Engineer to support daily production, monitor processes, resolve issues on the floor, and ensure smooth workflow in a high-mix environment.

You will assist in equipment, tooling, process verification, NPI, and product transfers, collect and analyze data, prepare reports and work instructions, and collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in mechanical/manufacturing/mechatronics or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or related industrial environment is a plus.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills; ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth workflow on the floor.
• Assist in equipment, tooling, process verification, product builds, trials and NPI activities.
• Collect, maintain and analyze production data and prepare accurate manufacturing documentation and reports.

• Support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring production processes, resolving operational issues, and ensuring smooth workflow on the production floor.
• Assist in equipment, tooling, process verification, product builds, trials, new product introduction (NPI), and product transfer activities to meet production and engineering objectives.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze production and process data, and prepare accurate manufacturing documentation, reports, work instructions, and records.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to support troubleshooting efforts, engineering changes, and corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities, while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, or related industrial environment will be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, problem-solving methodologies, and process improvement concepts.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, follow procedures, maintain documentation, and use Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, or engineering change activities.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, root cause analysis, or corrective action methodologies.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, precision assembly, electronics, or related manufacturing processes would be advantageous.
