Chinachem Group seeks an experienced Electrical or A/C technician to maintain hotel facilities, ensuring uptime and supporting guests and associates. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualificações

• At least four years of experience as an Electrical or A/C technician in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel industry is an advantage.
• Registered electrical worker preferred.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in residential and commercial/industrial settings.
• Underwent apprenticeship program with theory and on-the-job work.
• Hardworking and reliable; able to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and carry out preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment, etc.; including painting, electrical accessory replacements and repair, and wiring.
• Respond to guest complaints or issues in a timely manner and fulfill work orders when issues cannot be resolved.
• Complete daily rounds, check basic hotel accommodation, identify and report to Senior Duty Engineer any unusual occurrence/damage.
• Carry pager/cell phone for on-call maintenance.
• Perform duties of safety and fire operation when needed.
• Assist in keeping workshop areas, plant room and other equipment rooms clean.
• Respond promptly and positively to guest requests.
• Work within expense limits established; maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the “Preventative Maintenance Program.”
• Coordinate special projects as directed by the Chief Engineer or Duty Engineer.
• Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all hotel guests, contractors, and employees; ensure safety standards and compliance with regulations.
• Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

Job Overview

Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing direction of Engineering and hotel management. Continually work towards and support both guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Repair and carry out preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment, etc. Common tasks include painting, electrical accessory replacements and repair, and wiring. Air conditioners must also be cleaned or replaced regularly.
• Respond to guest complaints or issues in a timely manner and must also fulfill work orders when issues cannot be resolved.
• Complete daily rounds, check on basic hotel accommodation, identify and report to Senior Duty Engineer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

• Underwent apprenticeship program that included theory and on-the-job work.
