TSTAR RECRUIT PTE. LTD. supports an established multinational client seeking a Maintenance Assistant Engineer/Technician to maintain process and production equipment. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high machine reliability.
The position requires NITEC or engineering background, CAD/SolidWorks knowledge, and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts at Yishun & Tuas sites. Training is provided and safety standards apply.
Our esteemed client, an established and globally recognised MNC, is searching for Multiple Maintenance Assistant Engineer/ Technician:
Carry out scheduled preventive and periodical maintenance for process and production machinery.
Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, breakdown recovery and corrective maintenance to restore machine functionality and minimise production downtime.
Troubleshoot machine and quality‑related issues and support the implementation of effective solutions.
Analyse recurring and chronic equipment problems, identify root causes and implement appropriate countermeasures.
Support machine setup, model changes and equipment modifications to ensure smooth production and timely commencement of mass production.
Conduct machine and quality confirmation following model changes or equipment modifications.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities and continuously review maintenance effectiveness to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Propose and implement machine reliability, quality prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support activities to improve machine performance, maintenance efficiency and production output.
Prepare and maintain maintenance procedures, manuals, records and technical reports.
Assist in training and knowledge transfer to new team members where required.
Work closely with Production, Engineering teams, equipment manufacturers, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety requirements, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and ISO procedures.
Maintain a safe and conducive working environment.
Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns and provide emergency support when required.
Perform other maintenance and engineering duties as assigned.
NITEC or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
Candidates with relevant hands‑on experience in machine maintenance, equipment maintenance, manufacturing or production environments are preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of CAD and SolidWorks is an advantage.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a challenging and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Willing to work on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule, including morning and night shifts.
Willing to respond to urgent call‑backs or breakdowns when required.
Training is provided.
