Job summary

Amazon Web Services Brazil (AWS Brazil) is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to partner with customers and AWS teams to craft scalable, resilient architectures and accelerate AWS adoption across the Brazil market.

You will drive revenue growth in collaboration with Sales, lead deep architectural discussions, and deliver training to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Sr. Solutions Architect, Brazil Solutions Architecture (FSI)

Amazon Web Services Brazil (AWS Brazil) is looking for a builder, who will partner with customers, AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to work backwards and craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced Cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the Cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.

Key job responsibilities

• You will, in partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a technical strategy and approach to help our customers and to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• You will help customers to successes on building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS Cloud and educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• You will conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• You will capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community, author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• You will act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Industry knowledge on FSI vertical
