Amazon Brazil is seeking a Solutions Architect to help customers maximize AWS service usage and transform their cloud adoption. You will design scalable architectures, guide migration and optimization efforts, and contribute to technical publications and reference architectures.

Ideal candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate customers on AWS value, and lead architectural discussions to ensure successful deployments in the cloud.

We are looking for Solution Architects to join our AWS team in Brazil. In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions. Key job responsibilities

• You will be responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy alongside sales and business development teams to delight our Enterprise customers and partners in the Public Sector through a deep relationship with AWS.
• You will partner with customers and cross-functional AWS teams to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
• You will guide customers in successfully building, migrating, and optimizing applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• You will educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• You will capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community, including authoring or contributing to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and reference architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
