Jobtailor seeks a senior architect to guide engineering across new tools, architectural patterns and AI risk controls. You will evaluate platforms, define guardrails for generative AI, and drive cloud modernization while aligning with insurance/financial market needs.

Hybrid work in Rio de Janeiro, strong technical leadership and Azure/AIX experience are essential. Advanced degree and relevant certifications highly valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• Experience in technical leadership and guiding teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Hybrid work availability at Rio de Janeiro office.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Certifications in agile methodologies, software architecture, SAFe, DevOps or cloud architecture.
• Experience with agent-based architectures and risk-sensitive actions.
• Experience with data platforms for AI (Databricks, MLflow, feature stores).
• Experience with Azure AI or equivalents on other clouds.
• Experience in Insurance, Pension and/or Financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new tools and in-house development solutions, including conducting pilots with objective impact metrics.
• Recommend and guide architectural patterns for internal and external development teams.
• Continuously assess the group's technology assets, with emphasis on cost, security, scalability, resilience and reliability.
• Define architectural guardrails for the adoption of generative AI within engineering teams and business solutions.
• Support initiatives to modernize legacy systems to cloud architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in technical leadership.
• Advanced English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model at the Rio de Janeiro office.
• Master's degree or MBA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related areas is a plus.
• Certifications or courses in agile methodologies, software architecture, SAFe, DevOps culture or cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with agent-based architectures: agent orchestration, MCP (Model Context Protocol), function calling/tool usage and human-in-the-loop patterns for risk-sensitive actions.
• Experience with data platforms for AI: Databricks (Unity Catalog, Vector Search, MLflow), feature stores, embedding pipelines and data governance for training/inference.
• Experience with Azure AI (Document Intelligence, AI Foundry, AI Search) or equivalents on other clouds.
• Experience in the Insurance, Pension and/or Financial markets.
