Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks a Senior leader to steer technology transformation, modernization of enterprise systems, and governance of AI-enabled software development. You will align business priorities with modernization initiatives, manage complex programs, and lead multidisciplinary teams across Architecture, Engineering, Product, and Security.

Qualificações

Leadership experience in software engineering and technology transformation.
Experience managing leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and multiple high-complexity initiatives.
Ability to balance strategic vision, organizational leadership, and hands-on execution.
Knowledge of modernization programs, migration, refactoring, or evolution of enterprise systems.

Responsabilidades

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the Technology Transformation area.
Manage the portfolio of technology modernization projects and align milestones.
Lead and coordinate Engineering Managers, technical leaders, Product professionals, and PODs.
Define operating models and POD composition.
Coordinate internal teams and strategic partners.
Ensure alignment with Architecture, Engineering, Product, AI Office, Security, and Business areas.
Drive modernization of systems, platforms, and products with risk reduction.
Lead adoption of AI-first development practices.
Establish governance, validation, quality assurance, and monitoring for AI usage.
Structure backlog, capacity, dependencies, metrics, and rituals.
Turn learnings into reusable patterns, methods, agents, automations, accelerators.
Develop internal capabilities and promote knowledge transfer.
Manage vendors and strategic partners.
Support decisions on transition, maintenance, operation, and ownership of modernized products.
Report to the executive board on progress, risks, metrics, results, and area needs.

Manage the portfolio of technology modernization projects, aligning strategic objectives, capacity, risks, and outcomes
Lead and coordinate Engineering Managers, technical leaders, Product professionals, and multidisciplinary PODs
Define operating models and POD composition
Coordinate internal teams and strategic partners

Lead adoption of AI-first development practices

Requirements

Strong experience in Software Engineering leadership, Technology Transformation, System Modernization, or related areas
Proven track record managing leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and multiple simultaneous high-complexity initiatives
Ability to balance strategic vision, organizational leadership, and hands‑on execution
Relevant experience in modernization programs, migration, refactoring, or evolution of enterprise systems and platforms
Experience with complex environments, distributed architectures, systems integration, and legacy contexts
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, architecture, quality, integration, and operations
Practical experience applying artificial intelligence to software development and engineering productivity
Knowledge of AI-first development, automation of engineering processes, AI agents, and AI governance
Ability to design AI adoption models focused on quality, security, and value generation
Experience managing consultancies, strategic partners, and technology vendors
Ability to define scope, monitor execution, ensure delivery quality, and secure knowledge transfer
Experience defining roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, managing capacity, risks, dependencies, and metrics
Ability to lead multiple transformation fronts simultaneously while maintaining predictability and strategic alignment
Strong collaboration skills with Architecture, Engineering, Product, Security, Operations, and Business areas
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields
Preferred: experience modernizing critical systems and working in regulated environments
Preferred: experience with Platform Engineering, IDP, AI applied to engineering, and development cycle automation
Preferred: experience in technology transformation programs, modern architecture, cloud, and evolution of enterprise platforms
