Jobtailor in Brazil seeks a Senior Engineering Leader to guide cross-functional teams toward high performance and individual growth. You will align technical direction with strategic objectives, partnering with PMs, designers, and other leaders to deliver business-aligned solutions.

The role emphasizes clean code, testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and robust architectures, while fostering a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous feedback.

Qualificações

• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams based on agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Ambassador for a culture of collaboration and quality.
• Experience with robust, scalable architectures and documented coding standards.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile development.
• Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Code, and design patterns.
• Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and debugging of systems.
• Experience with software testing: unit, integration, E2E tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams with a focus on high performance and individual growth.
• Understand the company's strategic and operational plans, and disseminate and align technical direction with the overall strategy.
• Ensure delivery of technical solutions aligned with business needs, in partnership with PMs, designers, and other leaders.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Foster a collaborative environment with psychological safety and continuous feedback.
• Ensure the development of technical strategies within the team's domains, promoting engineering best practices (Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
• Participate in defining and tracking OKRs and technical metrics (lead time, stability, test coverage, etc.).
• Encourage Inner Source initiatives, the use of RFCs, and a living documentation culture.
• Handle ambiguous problems and challenging prioritization, balancing deadlines and quality.
• Be influential in decision-making with the team regarding solution details.
• Ensure product/platform quality, scalability, and best practices.
• Define, collect, analyze, and monitor application/product health metrics.

Requirements

• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams based on principles and adoption of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Be a team ambassador for our culture of high collaboration and quality.
• Experience in environments with robust, scalable architectures.
• Strong knowledge and experience leading teams that adopt architectural patterns and code design, with consistent and well-documented coding standards.
• Experience in mobile development (Android/iOS).
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs / HTTP protocol.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and design patterns.
• Experience in investigations, troubleshooting, telemetry, monitoring, observability, and debugging of systems.
• Experience with software testing: unit, integration, stress, mutation, and end-to-end (E2E) tests.
• Knowledge of databases and data modeling (relational and non-relational), caching strategies, and distributed processing.
• Knowledge of DevOps: CI/CD, automation, and the DevOps culture.
• Experience with metrics and marketing tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude).
• Experience managing mobile platforms (internal developer client).
