Jobtailor seeks an experienced Software Architect to design and document architectures for R&D&I projects and platform initiatives. You will set standards, review designs, and guide technology choices across microservices, event-driven, and hexagonal patterns.

You will lead architecture reviews, define integration strategies, and ensure scalability, security, and observability. Collaboration with researchers and engineers is essential, with a focus on technical documentation and patterns like

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of software development experience with architecture involvement.
• Proficiency in architecture patterns: microservices, event-driven, and hexagonal.
• Knowledge of SOLID and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Strong Node.js and React (TypeScript), REST API design.
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes containers.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of integrating AI services and APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with C4/UML architecture modeling and technical documentation.
• Technical English proficiency for reading technical docs.
• Availability for contractor engagement, hybrid work, Monday–Friday.
• Preferred: electronics/microelectronics/semiconductors, electronics industry exposure, R&D or ICTs, cloud certifications, embedded systems, IoT, event-driven/high-volume data processing, observability, long-running workflows.
• Preferred: advanced English for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of software development experience, with substantial involvement in architecture decisions
• Proficiency in architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven, and hexagonal architecture
• Knowledge of SOLID design principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and React (TypeScript), including REST API design and integration
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes containers
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, preferably using Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of integrating AI services and APIs into applications
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban, and technical backlog management
• Experience with C4/UML architecture modeling and technical documentation
