Instituto Internexum seeks a Quality Assurance specialist to develop automated test strategies for R&D&I projects. You will design test plans, implement functional, regression, and API tests, and ensure data integrity across systems.

The role requires 3-5 years in QA, strong automation experience (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium), API testing, SQL validation, and Azure DevOps proficiency, with advanced English for international collaboration.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/software testing.
Experience with test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar).
Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
Knowledge of Node.js and React in modern web apps.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Experience with Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD and version control.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and test management tools.
Familiarity with cloud-hosted apps, preferably Azure.
English proficiency for reading technical docs.
Certifications CTFL/ISTQB.
Experience testing embedded systems, IoT, hardware/firmware, or AI solutions.
Electronics/microelectronics/semiconductor industry experience.

Responsabilidades

Identify, document, and track defects and nonconformities through resolution.
Integrate test execution into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Validate functional and non-functional requirements for innovation projects.
Validate data integrity and consistency using SQL queries and API verification.
Participate in refinement and planning meetings with researchers and developers.
Contribute to defining acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
Perform performance, usability, and security testing when applicable.
Document test evidence and quality reports for partners and funding agencies.
Ensure the quality of software and systems developed through Instituto Internexum’s R&D&I projects.
Work with Node.js and React applications hosted on Microsoft Azure, with testing integrated into Azure DevOps.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/software testing.

Knowledge of modern web applications built with Node.js and React.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous integration, preferably with Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Use of artificial intelligence tools to support technical work.
Technical English for reading technical documentation.
Knowledge of the electronics, microelectronics, or semiconductor industries.
Experience in the electronics industry, industrial environments, or manufacturing.
Experience with research and development, innovation, or ICT projects.
Software quality certification (CTFL/ISTQB).
Experience testing applied research environments, prototypes, or MVPs.
Experience testing embedded systems, IoT, hardware/firmware, or AI solutions.
Advanced English for communication with international partners and suppliers.
