Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil seeks a hands-on Tech Lead to steer the Tools team's architecture and delivery. You will shape the roadmap with product, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, reliable systems while contributing code when needed.

You will lead design decisions, define standards, and collaborate across product, design, and operations to balance speed with quality in a fast-moving environment.

Qualificações

Strong experience in software development and technical leadership.
Ability to contribute directly to the codebase when needed.
Experience with architecture, testing, code review, and operating production systems.
Experience defining technical standards and improving software quality.
Ability to make technical decisions that account for impact, risks, and product needs.
Hands-on leadership with the ability to guide the team without stepping away from execution.
Product Engineer mindset.
Clear communication and collaboration with Engineering, Product, Design, and other departments.

Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Responsabilidades

Provide technical leadership to the Tools team and support day-to-day decision-making.
Build and review the roadmap with Product, balancing impact, capacity, and technical needs.
Participate in prioritization, discovery, and solution definition.
Contribute directly to the codebase through coding, code reviews, and investigations when needed.
Guide architectural decisions and ensure the sustainable evolution of systems.
Improve engineering processes to enable frequent, secure, and high-quality delivery.
Track technical metrics, risks, incidents, and technical debt.
Foster team autonomy through mentoring, feedback, and context sharing.
Remove impediments and facilitate collaboration with Product, Design, and other teams.
Maintain alignment and visibility into decisions, progress, risks, and outcomes.
Demonstrate technical excellence across code development, architecture, integrations, metrics, and SLAs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
