Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor SRE teams across India, LATAM, and Europe.
• Drive production support practices and incident resolution.
• Act as a technical liaison for cross-regional teams.
• Oversee infrastructure as code and automation with Terraform.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement observability strategies using tools like New Relic and Wavefront.
• Coordinate VPN tunneling and SFTP setup for EHR integrations.
• Provide technical guidance for customer issue resolution.
• Support training and documentation for internal tools and EHR tasks.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT Security, and Engineering teams.
• Contribute to migration efforts from legacy tools to GitLab.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Experience leading distributed teams.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Terraform, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with VPN, SFTP, and cloud networking.
• Strong incident management and observability skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-time zone coordination.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR compliance.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Experience in automation and process improvement.
• Work schedule aligned with Panama time zone, including on-call duties.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mirth and IRIS EHR systems.
• Knowledge of Bitbucket, Codefresh, Ansible.
• Background in healthcare or medical device environments.
• Understanding of high-availability infrastructure.
