Jobtailor is seeking an experienced virtualization specialist to administer and optimize VMware vSphere/vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation, Hyper‑V, and Nutanix AHV in high‑availability data centers. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, incident analysis, and performance optimization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree completed in a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere/vCenter administration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and hybrid, scalable environments.
• Proficiency with Hyper‑V administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience with Nutanix AHV administration and support.
• Experience in high-availability clusters ensuring resilience and continuity.
• Knowledge of storage and networking for virtualization and performance optimization.
• Experience with capacity planning and performance analysis of virtualized environments.
• Experience in migration, upgrade, and modernization projects with minimal downtime.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, maintain, and monitor virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) for availability, stability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot virtualization environments, perform incident analysis, identify root causes, and resolve critical issues.
• Support infrastructure evolution, migrations, and modernization projects, driving best practices and continuous improvements.
• Operate in high‑availability environments, ensuring rapid incident response and operational continuity.
• Implement and manage clusters, storage, and networks for virtualization to ensure performance and efficiency.
• Serve as a technical liaison with vendors/partners (Broadcom/VMware) for support and alignment of solutions.
• Monitor health and capacity, propose preventive actions, optimizations, and performance improvements.
• Document procedures, configurations, and changes made to virtualization environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed (preferably in Networks, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields).
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter, with experience in administration, maintenance, configuration, and optimization of mission‑critical virtualized environments.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including managing converged infrastructure, automation, and operating hybrid, scalable environments.
• Knowledge of Hyper‑V for administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft virtualized environments.
• Experience with Nutanix AHV, performing administration, monitoring, and support of hyperconverged environments.
• Experience implementing and administering clustered and high‑availability environments, ensuring resilience and operational continuity.
• Knowledge of storage and networking applied to virtualization, including infrastructure integration, performance, and connectivity best practices.
• Experience with capacity planning and performance analysis of virtualized environments, working on resource optimization, availability, and infrastructure growth.
• Experience in migration, upgrade, and modernization projects for virtualized environments, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to industry best practices.
