Jobtailor is seeking a Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of platform capabilities across Compute, Storage, Backup, and Data Protection. You will set standards, drive a roadmap, and ensure secure, scalable services via APIs and self-service.

The role requires strong architecture experience, on-premises and cloud knowledge, and advanced English proficiency. Collaboration with global teams and vendors is essential for modernization and digital transformation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field.
• Experience in Solution Architecture or Corporate Infrastructure Architecture.
• Experience with Enterprise Storage, Backup, Virtualization and Data Protection.
• Experience designing architectures for high-availability, mission-critical and large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures (on-premises and cloud).
• Experience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Cyber Recovery strategies.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Define the architecture and evolution of Platform Capabilities for Compute, Storage, Backup, Virtualization and Data Protection.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap for platform capabilities, aligning innovation and IT strategy.
• Define architectural standards, principles and governance for scalability, resilience and security.
• Act as a link between Platform Capabilities and Platform Engineering for standardized, automated Platform Services via APIs and self-service.
• Provide technical leadership for modernization, environment consolidation, cloud adoption and digital transformation.
• Define strategies for Data Protection, Backup, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Recovery.
• Evaluate new technologies and PoCs to support strategic IT investments.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate Architecture, Security, Compliance and IT Governance.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors and other tech areas to evolve platform capabilities.
• Document architectures, standards and key technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture and evolution of Platform Capabilities related to Compute, Storage, Backup, Virtualization and Data Protection.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap for platform capabilities, aligning innovation, operational sustainability and IT strategy.
• Define architectural standards, technical principles and best practices to ensure platform scalability, resilience, security, availability and governance.
• Act as a link between Platform Capabilities and Platform Engineering, ensuring Platform Capabilities evolve into standardized, automated Platform Services consumable via APIs and self-service.
• Provide technical leadership for technology modernization initiatives, environment consolidation, cloud adoption and digital transformation.
• Define strategies for Data Protection, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Cyber Recovery.
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors and solutions, conducting proofs of concept (PoCs), technical analyses and recommendations to support strategic investment decisions.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate Architecture, Information Security, Compliance and IT Governance guidelines.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors and other technology areas in defining and evolving platform capabilities.
• Serve as the technical reference for the domains of Compute, Storage, Backup, Virtualization and Data Protection, supporting the technical development of teams.
• Document architectures, standards and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture or Corporate Infrastructure Architecture.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Storage platforms, Corporate Backup solutions, Virtualization and Data Protection.
• Experience designing architectures for high-availability, mission-critical and large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures (on-premises and cloud).
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Cyber Recovery strategies.
• Ability to drive architectural definitions, influence technical decisions and act consultatively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF certification or equivalent experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Certifications from VMware, Nutanix, AWS, Dell Technologies, Veeam or equivalents.
• Knowledge of observability, SRE and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimization in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Experience in global corporate environments.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms.
