Jobtailor is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in São Paulo to design, implement, and optimize complex cloud and on‑prem environments. You will manage Linux/Windows services, virtualization with VMware/Hyper‑V, and ensure performance and security across hybrid clouds.

The role requires strong networking, scripting, and automation skills, with experience in load balancing, storage, and security. Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals or VMware are a plus.

Qualificações

• Advanced English required to read technical documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with load balancing and datacenter environments
• Knowledge of storage technologies
• Networking expertise and high-performance networking
• VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization administration
• Linux and Windows service installation, config and maintenance (clusters)
• Firewalls, reverse proxies and VPNs
• Familiarity with networking protocols (Frame Relay, X.25, ATM)
• Cloud certifications (Azure Fundamentals or equivalent) are pluses
• VMware certification is a plus
• ITIL certification is a plus
• Ansible and Terraform familiarity is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage complex infrastructure projects

• Provide L1–L3 support for servers, OS and software
• Manage datacenter services in private cloud, Oracle Cloud and Azure
• Perform OS updates across environments
• Migrate between on‑premises and cloud
• Research new tools to improve performance and security
• Document root cause analyses and resolutions
• Plan technology upgrades and resource capacity
• Keep server/storage patches up to date
• Maintain information confidentiality and integrity
• Create and manage AD users/groups and inventory devices
• Improve network availability and security via scripts
• Implement FinOps and capacity management

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute highly complex projects in the area
• Administer and support cloud and on-premises servers and services (public, private and/or hybrid clouds and on-premises)
• Monitor behavior to ensure proper operation and availability of equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and develop automations for the infrastructure
• Provide L1, L2 and L3 support to teams regarding the use of servers, operating systems and software
• Implement, manage, support and automate services in datacenters, private cloud, Oracle Cloud, Azure and hybrid environments
• Perform operating system updates across the environment, either automated or manual
• Migrate environments from on-premises to cloud and from cloud to cloud
• Research and evaluate new tools to improve server performance and security
• Contribute to the creation of root cause documentation and problem resolution
• Research and plan technology upgrades and propose updates to software and hardware resources
• Keep all server and storage patches and fixes up to date
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information under your management
• Create users and groups in AD (Active Directory) and keep inventory of network-connected devices up to date
• Contribute to network availability, security and performance through the creation of scripts
• Implement sound financial management (FinOps) and define/update the environment capacity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
• Advanced English: ability to read technical documentation and manuals
• Experience with application load balancing, link balancing and datacenter environments
• Knowledge of storage technologies
• Expertise in high-performance networking
• Configuration and management of virtualized environments with VMware and Hyper‑V
• Strong skills in installation, configuration and maintenance of services in Linux and Windows environments, with a focus on clusters
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls, reverse proxies and VPNs
• Familiarity with internetworking protocols such as Frame Relay, X.25, ATM, among others
• Linux certification or MCSA/MCP certification is a plus
• VMware certification is a plus
• Azure Fundamentals or a similar cloud certification is a plus
• ITIL certification is a plus
• Experience with network devices (switches, access points, routers, F5 BIG‑IP) is a plus
• Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform is a plus
