Jobtailor seeks an experienced Scrum Master to guide agile teams in a dynamic IT environment in Rio de Janeiro. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a lean‑agile mindset. You will collaborate with Product Owners, apply Jira and Azure tools, and pursue continuous improvement across projects.

• Coach teams on agile values, removing impediments and guiding improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to refine backlog and plan sprints.
• Knowledge of multiple agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Experience with IT projects and agile metrics.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile team-level ceremonies (Retrospective, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement).
• Integrate agile best practices and standards.
• Participate in working meetings, including occasional meetings with business areas to gain immersion and progressive domain knowledge.
• Foster a sense of shared responsibility within teams and among stakeholders.
• Be responsible for identifying and resolving impediments for the area and the team, interacting with relevant processes and people from the start to the delivery of solutions.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset and practices for agile teams.
• Coach the team on lean‑agile values and principles.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to support short‑term planning and the ongoing definition/prioritization of the team’s product backlog.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience working on IT projects.
• Experience with various models, metrics, and ceremonies at the agile team level.
• Knowledge of agile methods and practices beyond Scrum (Kanban, XP, etc.).
• Previous experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure, and Jira.
• Certifications such as PMI-ACP and/or PMI-DASM and/or PMI-DASSM and/or Scrum Master certification.
• Kanban certification.
• Management 3.0 certification.
• Basic knowledge of Waterfall methodology (complementary to agile knowledge).
• Basic understanding of portfolio management.
