A leading international offshore contractor is seeking an Occupational Safety Technician in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, conducting audits, and developing safety programs. Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in heavy construction or oil & gas sectors. The position offers a year-end bonus, meal vouchers, and a possibility to work from home.

Qualificações

• 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience in audits, inspections, risk management, and accident investigation.

Descrição da oferta de emprego

• Carry out activities and tasks in accordance with Allseas’ corporate objectives;
• Become familiar with and comply with the Allseas management system;
• Support and actively participate in the continuous improvement of the management system;
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment for Allseas employees and contractors working at all Allseas facilities;
• Identify areas of exposure or improvement within the department or its objectives;
• Conduct inspections and audits to diagnose the institution’s occupational health and safety (OHS) situation;
• Identify control variables related to diseases, accidents, quality of life, and the environment.
• Develop educational actions in the field of health and safety at work;
• Integrate negotiation processes. Participate in the adoption of technologies and work processes;
• Take part in investigations and analyses of work-related accidents and recommend preventive and control measures.

What we expect from you

• Occupational Safety Technician certificate
• Registered by Ministry of Labor.
• Preferred: Additional certifications or specialization in Health, Environment, or Safety Management.
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in industrial environments, heavy construction, oil & gas, or onshore projects.
• Hands‑on experience in audits, inspections, risk management, accident investigation, and implementation of preventive programs.
