Jobtailor is seeking an Occupational Safety Technician to join our team in Manaus. You will prepare and review safety documents, coordinate risk assessments, and support IMS and SMS initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

You will lead safety inspections, develop training programs, and monitor PPE and environmental aspects while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety performance.

Qualificações

• Completed technical qualification in Occupational Safety with MTB registration.
• Solid experience as an Occupational Safety Technician.
• Experience in the industrial sector and related segments is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to set clear priorities when handling multiple demands.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review documents and procedures related to occupational safety and maintain records.
• Support departments on safety matters within the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Prepare and review documents for the Safety Management System.
• Coordinate hazard and risk assessments for activities.
• Participate in evaluating projects and processes regarding physical and ergonomic risks.
• Recommend safety improvements in projects and processes.
• Coordinate activities carried out by CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention).
• Develop and deliver training, orientation, and educational presentations for employees and contractors.
• Participate in preparing the annual safety inspection schedule.
• Conduct safety inspections according to the schedule and procedures.
• Participate in accident investigations, prepare safety reports and CAT, and submit CAT to authorities.
• Monitor environmental aspects related to noise and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate PPE quality and functionality.
• Oversee work by third parties with safety aspects.
• Monitor high-risk activities on the plant floor.
• Participate in Lean Thinking projects (EMS / EAI).

Requirements

• Completed technical qualification in Occupational Safety with registration at the Brazilian Ministry of Labor (MTB)
• Solid experience working as an Occupational Safety Technician
• Experience in the industrial sector and related segments is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Category B driver’s license (CNH) is a plus
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to set clear priorities when handling multiple demands
