Brunel is recruiting a Senior Project Offshore HSE Advisor to support a multinational client with offshore campaigns in Brazil. You will coordinate HSE readiness, provide execution assurance through first oil, and act as the Brazil-based focal point for offshore HSE matters.

You will lead risk assessments, SIMOPS coordination, PTW/JSA processes, audits, and incident follow-up, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with offshore leadership and contractors.

Qualificações

• Experience coordinating offshore HSE readiness and readiness for first oil.
• Experience with offshore campaigns, commissioning and start-up activities in HSE.
• Proven ability to ensure regulatory compliance in offshore Brazil.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate offshore HSE preparation and readiness; and provide HSE execution assurance across the Project offshore campaigns through first oil.
• Serve as the Brazil-based project HSE focal point for offshore execution.
• Facilitate and assure operational HSE risk assessments, SIMOPS HSE coordination, HSE bridging alignment and emergency response readiness for offshore installation and campaign execution.
• Coordinate and provide functional guidance to offshore HSE inspectors, including escalation of significant HSE concerns.
• Assure offshore HSE execution through review of contractor performance, inspector reports, PTW/JSA processes, audits and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance, trends, environmental reporting and lessons learned, facilitating follow-up with project, contractor and offshore leadership.
• Review and follow up safety deliverables and actions relevant to offshore readiness and operational safety requirements, in coordination with relevant functional specialists.

As part of our support to one of our clients, a multinational operator with a strong global presence, we are looking for a professional to join us as a Senior Project Offshore HSE Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore HSE preparation and readiness; and provide HSE execution assurance across the Project offshore campaigns through first oil.
• Serve as the Brazil-based project HSE focal point for offshore execution.
• Facilitate and assure operational HSE risk assessments, SIMOPS HSE coordination, HSE bridging alignment and emergency response readiness for offshore installation and campaign execution.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong relevant HSE experience in offshore projects or operating facilities, including experience in supporting offshore execution. Experience in FPSO developments, commissioning, start-up or first oil is highly desirable.
• Experience in supporting offshore campaigns, commissioning, start-up activities, HSE readiness, contractor coordination and operational risk management
• Experience with PTW, SIMOPS, HSE bridging, emergency response and relevant technical and operational safety deliverables.
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance in offshore Brazil is desirable.
• Medically fit for offshore travel and able to maintain applicable offshore survival and mandatory certifications.
• Sound HSE judgement in managing offshore readiness and execution risks.
• Ability to translate HSE and technical safety requirements into practical actions.
• Strong assurance, prioritisation, escalation and action close-out capability.
• Ability to build alignment and influence stakeholders to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Effective communication, coordination and problem-solving across contractors, multidisciplinary teams and specialists.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
• Relevant HSE professional certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) is desirable.
