Accelleron is seeking an experienced professional in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to improve performance and ensure compliance in Rio de Janeiro. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of OHS/HSE experience, strong communication skills, and a relevant certification. This role involves training, project management, and operational support.

Responsabilidades

Improve HSE performance and Corporate Responsibility.
Deploy HSE training and audits within divisions.
Analyze HSE data and report on sustainability objectives.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and legal standards.
Manage risks and follow up on improvement actions.
Engage with stakeholders to enhance performance.

Plan and execute HSE-related projects.

Responsibilities

Contribute to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance and Corporate Responsibility in assigned geography. Support the business by applying in‑depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of Group‑wide performance improvement programs and/or Group Audit Program.
Governance: Delivers and deploys HSE training, audit and Group‑wide performance improvement programs to the Divisions and Local Business Units.
Metrics: Provides analysis of HSE data within area of responsibility. Reports on progress on implementation of Sustainability Objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) as required.
Regulatory Compliance: Contributes to assessing emerging trends and legislation in HSE and communicates relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography. Supports constituent countries to operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations.
Risk Management: Delivers audit (as per Group Audit Program) and supports follow up of improvement actions in the Local Business Units.
Communication & Engagement: Cooperates across functions and with business partners to raise awareness and drive performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility for the COE.
Operational Support: Contributes to driving behavioral change and continuous improvement through delivery of training and competence initiatives and expert support to the Local Business Units in line with yearly HSE plan agreed with the Business Units. Supports the sharing of best practice. Coordinates reporting on HSE performance and support delivery of Group audit program.
Project Management: Contributes to and/or plans and executes Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility related projects. Develops and reports on project objectives. Manages project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.

Background

+5 years relevant OHS/HSE practical experience, with preference within an international company
National/international certificate/diploma in HSE/OHS
Good communicator with ability to adjust communication to different levels of the organization
ISO 45001, 14001 knowledge / internal auditor certification
Able to communicate fluently in EnglishInterested in working in a mechanical environment, supporting safety culture development in the workshop and customer’s site (Marine, O&G and power generation industry)
Good understanding of mechanical service processes and ability in identification of risk
