Monee is seeking a payments operations professional to own the health and performance of our payment network. You will monitor metrics, drive incident responses, and manage critical relationships with acquirers and service providers across the region.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance to optimize payment performance, costs, and service levels, helping our Brazilian team scale securely and efficiently.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in payments, payment operations, program management or partner management.
• Hands-on experience with payment performance metrics - approval rates, failure analysis, processing cost.
• Experience managing external providers or partners, including service levels and commercial terms.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data in SQL, BI tools, and spreadsheets.
• Advanced/fluent English, for collaboration with regional teams.

Job Description

What will be your mission?

You will run payment processing as a program - owning the operational and commercial health of the payment network. You will monitor payment performance in real time, lead the response when something breaks, and manage the relationships with the acquirers and payment service providers we depend on, from service levels through to commercial terms. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance, and with colleagues across the region.

What will your day-to-day be like?

• Own the operational and commercial health of the payment network end to end;
• Monitor payment approval rates in real time - overall, by payment method and by provider - and investigate deviations before they reach customers;
• Lead incident response for payment processing: coordinate across teams, communicate to stakeholders, drive resolution and follow through on post-mortems;
• Manage relationships with acquirers and payment service providers, including contract governance and regular performance reviews;
• Track and enforce provider service levels, escalating and remediating breaches;
• Define and execute the provider diversification strategy to reduce single-provider dependency and improve resilience;
• Negotiate processing costs and identify structural opportunities to reduce the cost of payments;
• Establish the reporting cadence that gives the business a single, reliable view of payment performance;
• Communicate performance, risks and results to stakeholders across business units and leadership levels.
