Job summary

WGT EHR Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead ERP implementation and finance transformation within a major construction group.

You will report to the CFO and strengthen financial operations, project accounting, and internal controls while guiding a new ERP rollout. You will oversee project costing, WIP, revenue recognition, group consolidation, and budgeting, ensuring accurate reporting and robust controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CA/ACCA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in finance and accounting, construction/engineering exposure advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in construction/project accounting: WIP, cost-to-complete, revenue recognition.
• Proven ERP implementation experience; experience with Sage 300 ACCPAC, Globe3 or Synergix beneficial.
• Strong financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and internal controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation across the Group, from requirements to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Oversee construction/project accounting: costing, WIP, cost-to-complete, revenue recognition, subcontractor accounting, profitability.
• Manage financial accounting and reporting: full sets of accounts, month-end, consolidation and management reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management; monitor project costs and performance.
• Strengthen finance processes and internal controls; collaborate with CFO, project teams and vendors to improve efficiency.

Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead ERP implementation and finance transformation within an established construction group. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in strengthening financial operations, project accounting, reporting and internal controls while driving the successful implementation of a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation and rollout across the Group, including requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, data migration, UAT, user training, go-live and post-implementation support.

• Oversee construction and project accounting, including project costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP), cost-to-complete, revenue recognition, subcontractor accounting, variations, claims and project profitability.

• Manage financial accounting and reporting, including full sets of accounts, month-end closing, group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and management reporting.

• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, monitoring project costs, financial performance, working capital and potential cost overruns.

• Strengthen finance processes, internal controls and ERP workflows, working closely with the CFO, project teams, operational stakeholders and system vendors to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy and automation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with substantial exposure to the construction, engineering or property development industry.

• Strong hands‑on experience in construction/project accounting, including WIP, project costing, cost-to-complete, subcontractor accounting and revenue recognition under SFRS(I) 15.

• Proven ERP/accounting system implementation experience, preferably having completed at least one full implementation from requirements gathering to go‑live. Experience with Sage 300 ACCPAC, Globe3 or Synergix is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, Singapore accounting standards, GST and internal controls, with excellent analytical, project management and stakeholder communication skills.
