MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior financial leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, collaborating with Management and departments to steer performance.

You will manage monthly management accounts, financial reports and budget-to-actual analyses, supervise Accounts Payable, General Ledger and payroll entries, and ensure timely month-, quarter-, and year-end closings while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the annual budgeting, financial planning and forecasting processes with Management and relevant departments.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and budget-to-actual analyses.
• Monitor business performance, costs, profitability and key financial indicators, providing recommendations to Management.
• Oversee accounting operations including Accounts Payable, General Ledger and payroll-related accounting entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital, and identify opportunities to improve cash flow efficiency.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Salary: S$7,300 – S$7,800 per month
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:45pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm (Alternate Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, financial planning and forecasting processes with Management and relevant departments.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Monitor business performance, costs, profitability and key financial indicators, providing recommendations to Management.
• Oversee accounting operations including Accounts Payable, General Ledger and payroll-related accounting entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital, and identify opportunities to improve cash flow efficiency.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other financial stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings.
• Provide financial analysis and evaluation for business initiatives, investments and commercial decisions.
• Partner with Management and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost control, operational efficiency and profitability improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team while ensuring effective workload allocation and operational coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting systems and management information.
• Participate in finance-related projects and other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance or Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, financial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and financial analysis.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop Finance team members.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on cost control, profitability and business performance.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry or a fast-moving business environment will be an advantage.
