Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Import Specialist to plan and monitor all stages of complex import processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accurate documentation. The role requires advanced knowledge of import regulations, NCM classification, and cost control.

You will coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and brokers, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and the company’s financial health.

Qualificações

  • Solid experience with highly complex import processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of import documentation and customs legislation.
  • Proficiency in fiscal classification (NCM) and taxation of import operations.
  • Experience with customs clearance, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge of SISCOMEX and management/ERP systems.
  • Experience managing and negotiating with freight forwarders, carriers, insurers, customs brokers, and international suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze and control costs, deadlines, and KPIs throughout the import process.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, discrepancies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to serve as a technical reference for the team and other departments.
  • Proactivity, autonomy, and a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Advanced or fluent English, especially for communication with international suppliers and partners.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan and monitor all stages of import processes, including more complex operations
  • Analyze, prepare, and review import documentation, ensuring compliance and adherence to deadlines
  • Perform the fiscal classification of goods (NCM) and analyze taxation
  • Monitor customs clearance activities with customs brokers and the relevant authorities
  • Identify and resolve outstanding issues and requirements related to import processes
  • Negotiate and monitor international transportation, insurance, customs brokerage, and other supplier services
  • Control operational costs, deadlines, and expenses, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction
  • Maintain contact with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, insurers, and other partners
  • Identify risks and propose solutions to ensure greater process security and efficiency
  • Control processes using spreadsheets, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, SISCOMEX, and other tools
  • Prepare reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to import processes
  • Provide technical support to the team and other departments on import-related matters
  • Monitor updates to customs legislation and foreign trade procedures
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in import processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and Grupo Pinho guidelines, contributing to operational efficiency and the company’s financial health
