Position Overview: We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with Golang experience. This remote role involves managing our backend platform, including API integrations with third-party vendors and partners. You will play a key role in enhancing user access and building products that promote positive cash flow, working with international teams to manage a digital wallet supporting seamless transactions.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
2. Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed microservices architecture.
3. Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors and partners.
4. Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
5. Create reusable code and libraries to foster collaboration and scalability.
6. Enforce observability best practices using logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
7. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
8. Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
9. Collaborate effectively across teams to align priorities and requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficient in back-end languages such as Go, Java, Python, C++.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.
• Ownership of projects from concept to completion.
• Experience with agile methodologies and message queuing systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Flink.
• Release management and CI/CD experience with Gitlab CI, Github Actions.
