The SAP SD Consultant should possess strong hands-on expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with a solid understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales orders, pricing, billing, delivery processing, credit management, output determination, and customer master data. The candidate should have experience supporting global SAP environments, incident resolution, service request management, root cause analysis, and enhancement delivery within AMS engagements. Knowledge of integration points with SAP MM, FI, WM/EWM, and CRM is essential, along with experience in configuration, testing, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

The SAP SD Consultant will provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for SAP SD processes, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problem tickets in accordance with defined SLAs. The role involves analyzing business requirements, performing system configuration, coordinating testing activities, supporting month-end and business-critical operations, and driving continuous process improvements. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical resources to deliver stable, scalable solutions while maintaining system documentation, adhering to governance standards, and supporting Pearson's ongoing digital and business transformation initiatives.
