SAP SE is seeking an iXp Intern - Support Engineer for the Data & Plattform ABAP team in São Leopoldo. You will learn a broad set of technical topics and business processes while assisting customers on SAP Data & Plattform topics.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in classroom and remote training, and collaborate with a global team to ensure SAP systems stay operational and secure.

Qualificações

• University student currently enrolled in an IT-related course with at least 2 years until graduation.
• Fluent English (oral/written) required; daily contact with global customers and colleagues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis on business-critical issues.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Support Engineer at Technical Support - Data & Platform ABAP

Location: São Leopoldo, Brazil [hybrid position, 3 days per week working from the office]

We are looking for an intern to join the SAPData & PlattformABAP Team team to support our global customers on the SAP Data & Plattformtopics. In our team, you will have the opportunity to learn a vast range of technical topics as well as business processes.

• Support SAP software that is being used by industries, governments, and multinational companies around the globe.
• Investigate and resolve critical system issues via live calls, real-time chat channel and through a CRM tool regarding product functionality or technical issues; troubleshoot systems to offer elegant solutions within established timelines;
• Provide excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills: Communicate and collaborate with peers, customers and upper management.
• Constantly empathize with our customers and call them whenever necessary;
• Be a team player that is both eager to learn and to share knowledge;
• You will share knowledge by creating Knowledge Base Articles, exchanging experiences, and discussing solutions with colleagues and collaborating in forums.
• Take ownership of situations and seek for continuous improvement, by documenting solutions and collaborating internally to achieve product and process improvement.
• You will help ensuring SAP customers' systems and environments remain operational, accessible, secure and adequately integrated in their landscapes, as well as assist them in solving associated issues.
• You will learn many technical and business-related topics through classroom training, remote training sessions, mentoring and e-learning offerings.
• You will monitor and enable SLA fulfillment via queue monitoring.
• When needed, you will report errors to development teams.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of product and configuration issues.
• Meet, work and talk with colleagues and customers from all around the world!

What You’ll bring:

• You must be a proactive and solution-oriented University Studentcurrently enrolled to an IT related course with at least 2 years until graduation.
• Fluent English is required (oral/written), as you will be in contact with customers and colleagues globally via email, internal systems, and phone on a daily basis.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and work in business-critical issues while managing own time effectively is key.
• Have customer focus, strong communication skills (oral/written) and flexible approach to working in global teams.
• Basic knowledge in SQL/database architecture, network protocols, operating systems (Unix/Windows) and SAP products would be beneficial.

Nice to Have:

• Desirable knowledge in Information Security, cryptography, performance tuning at OS level, computer programming and debugging.
