Position: Regional Sales Manager – Life Science

This role is responsible for leading the indirect sales channel through CRM (SFDC) by effective funnel management, developing and optimizing sales coverage via indirect sales partners with a mindset of continuous improvement, and increasing visibility and market share in the region.

Reporting to the Sales Manager Latam – Research and Applied, this position is based in São Paulo/Capital, with remote work flexibility.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the indirect sales channel through CRM (SFDC), managing opportunities, conversion rates, sales stages, win/loss analysis, and market size assessments.
  • Develop and optimize sales coverage by selecting and managing indirect sales partners, aiming to increase regional visibility and market share.
  • Ensure effective commercial execution, including standard work, daily management, KPIs, and action plans to sustain sales growth and market expansion. Collaborate effectively with local and global Leica teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine forecasting models to predict trends and demands accurately, ensuring forecasts are timely and actionable.
  • Prepare and present management reports with key insights, risks, and opportunities, tailored to the audience.
Minimum Requirements:

Professional Experience:

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience leading indirect sales channels.
  • Knowledge of Life Science research and microscopy is preferred.
  • Experience working in multicultural and global corporate environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or equivalent.

Languages:

  • English (intermediate level);
  • Spanish (intermediate level) preferred.

Travel:

  • Approximately 65% travel required, including national and international trips.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
