Overview

Serves as a key member of the regional sales management team. Plans and executes sales strategies for international product lines and conducts business development and account management activities for current and potential regional clients in the Brazilian hospital market.

Candidates must reside in Brazil.

Builds, plans, and manages long-term sustainable business relationships to maintain and increase sales of JCI’s products and services to major health system accounts, key JCI customers, Ministries of Health, and other governmental entities. Cultivates and builds customer relationships at the executive level, providing customer coordination, and leveraging Principal consultants and other subject matter experts within JCI to assist in closing sales opportunities. Directs Account Management in creating proposals and negotiating contracts based on customers’ specific needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Builds, establishes, and maintains relationships with key JCI clients, health systems, and Ministries of Health. Understands their needs.
  2. Creates sales opportunities by meeting with customers and potential customers, presenting at local and regional meetings and trade shows, coordinating client meetings with JCI executive staff and subject matter experts to advance sales and account management.
  3. Participates in product development and enhancement meetings with JCI product line management.
  4. Addresses service issues and complaints related to JCI products and services expressed by regional customers.
  5. Fosters ongoing relationships with current and potential clients through continuous communication and timely contact.
  6. Generates business leads, follows up on sales opportunities, and converts them into signed contracts for high-reliability engagements.
  7. Documents and tracks customer needs and sales opportunities in Salesforce. Manages and reports on the sales pipeline.
  8. Follows up with clients post-survey or engagement to assess satisfaction.
  9. Meets or exceeds annual sales targets and KPIs.
  10. Develops solutions, bundles, and proposals for clients.
  11. Collaborates with JCI product lines and marketing to shape and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  12. Works with management to establish regional or country-specific business strategies for continuous growth.
  13. Monitors regional competitors and local policy trends.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in the healthcare industry, especially in the Brazilian healthcare provider market.
  2. Familiarity with healthcare accreditation, standards, patient safety, and quality of care is preferred.
  3. At least 10+ years of successful management, sales, marketing, or account management experience.
  4. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations at regional meetings with appropriate sales skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills in English and Brazilian Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
  6. Ability to forecast sales and meet targets.
  7. Proven relationship management skills.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  9. Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally and occasionally to the U.S.
