An established industry player is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Phosphonates and Polymer Sales. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies across Brazil and LATAM, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key distributor relationships. With a focus on customer relationship management, you will establish strong connections with key accounts and provide tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the chemical industry, particularly in phosphonates and polymers, and possess excellent planning and decision-making skills. Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies for Phosphonates and Polymer products across Brazil and LATAM markets.
Market Penetration: Identify new business opportunities and expand market share in key industries, including water treatment, industrial chemicals, detergents, and other sectors using phosphonates and polymers.
Distributor & Partner Management: Work closely with key distributors and partners, such as Italmatch, TH Water, IMCD, and Azelis, to drive sales and ensure effective product distribution.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, providing technical support and solutions to meet customer needs.
Revenue & Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed sales targets of USD 60-75K base salary with a 25% commission on performance-based sales growth.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Leadership & Reporting: Lead and motivate the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and opportunities for growth.
Technical Support & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal technical teams and customers to provide tailored solutions and ensure product success.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (BSc/BTech Chemical or equivalent).
Industry Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the chemical industry, specifically in phosphonates and polymers.
Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the LATAM market, particularly in Brazil, and an understanding of industry trends and customer needs in sectors such as water treatment and industrial chemicals.
Distributor & Partner Experience: Proven track record in managing relationships with major distributors and industry partners like Italmatch, TH Water, IMCD, and Azelis.
Sales Experience: Experience in driving regional sales, managing pipelines, and consistently achieving targets.
