LHW CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and tender documents for diverse projects in Brazil. You will source suppliers, evaluate quotations, and monitor costing, progress claims, variations, and final accounts while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Fresh graduates welcome; Diploma in Building/QS/Engineering preferred. Strong reading of drawings and proficiency in MS Office are required; you will work with

Qualificações

• Min. Diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying/Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Fresh Graduates also welcome.
• Able to read construction, architectural & engineering drawings.
• Able to interpret drawings for costing and estimation.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take-off quantity with accuracy.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical proposal & cost estimation for project tenders.
• Source for local/oversea suppliers, fabricators & sub-contractors.
• Prepare & submit progress claims, variation orders & finalization of accounts.
• Prepare & certify claims for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Develop, review and monitor tender policies and guidelines, in line with industry best practice.
• Ensure all estimates provided are at a competitive level.
• Prices/forecast the cost of materials needed for the project.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Sourcing, evaluate and compare subcontractors’/suppliers’ quotations.
• Liaise with client and other construction professionals such as site managers and engineers.
• Ad hoc duties when assigned.
