PERSOL in Brazil seeks an Electrical/Computing engineer to collaborate with Ops, Maintenance, and other engineering teams to investigate defects and improve maintenance strategies. You will analyze condition monitoring data, draft work instructions, and identify cost‑effective technologies to enhance signaling, communication and control systems.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (Networking) or equivalent
• Adept with diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies, such as Weibull Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Best practices in Maintenance Science

Responsabilidades

• Work effectively with Ops and Maintenance staff as well as other engineering departments to investigate defects. To develop methods, propose modifications and improve maintenance strategies to rectify them.
• Analyze and trend condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns. To develop methods, propose modifications and improve maintenance strategies to overcome them.
• Draft technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Identify and implement cost effective technologies to enhance Signaling, Communication & Control System performance.
• Support projects in reviewing project design specifications and ensure their adequacy for the safety, reliability, maintainability and operability. To provide other engineering support to the projects, as required.
• Identify and report any safety concerns at the workplace.
• Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works, as assigned by supervisor. (Training and qualifications will be provided by company, as required). Examples include
• Perform admin functions
• Respond to operations emergencies
• Support the execution of projects; including verifying contractor’s work completion, providing manpower to support project testing & commissioning, attendance to contractors, etc
• Preparation of reports
