MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a qualified controls technician to maintain and operate semiconductor process controls. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and safety systems, plus a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
You will support routine and preventive maintenance, perform fault diagnosis, document activities, and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a cross-functional team to uphold EHS standards and reliability
Ensure strict compliance withenvironmental, health, and safety (EHS)standards across allcontrolactivities.
Performroutine and preventive maintenanceoncontrolsystems ranging fromPLC, LSS(Life Safety system), FAS (Fire alarm system),Instrumentationand related Control systems,etc.
Supportcommissioning and startupof newcontrolsystems and infrastructure upgrades.
Identifyand fix electrical problems usingstructuredsolving stepsor procedures.
Conductrisk assessments and FMEAtoidentifyand mitigate potential system failures.
Maintainaccuratedocumentation ofcontrolsystems, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
Mentor junior technicians andparticipateintechnical training programsto elevate team capabilities.
Support deployment ofSMART diagnostics toolsand digital systems to improve maintenance efficiency and system intelligence.
Education: Diploma in Electrical& ControlEngineering or equivalent technical certification.
Experience:Minimum2+ yearsincontrolmaintenance and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge ofPLC/Instrumentation/FAS/LSSsystems, electrical schematics, and safety codes. Familiarity withETAP,IEC standards, andpredictive maintenance toolsis a plus.
Communication: Effectivecommunicatorwith strong teamwork and documentation skills.
