The Project Engineer plays a critical role within an engineering team, typically being involved throughout the entire project lifecycle. Below is a general description of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with a Project Engineer position.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in the development of project scope in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Contribute to project planning by establishing objectives, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop efficient and innovative technical solutions to project challenges.
• Manage project resources, including materials, budget, timelines, and project team members.
• Execute project activities, including obtaining quotations, issuing purchase requisitions, defining technical specifications, and coordinating related tasks.
• Possess process knowledge, as commissioning and start-up activities are part of the role.
• Resolve technical issues and operational challenges that arise during project execution.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and professionals from different disciplines. Assign responsibilities and provide guidance to the project team.
• Prepare technical documentation, including operation manuals, project reports, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure projects comply with industry regulations, standards, and applicable requirements.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and status.
• Communicate, negotiate, and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in a safe and professional manner to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Participate in regular internal and customer meetings, as well as project-related travel (domestic and international).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field).
• Previous experience in engineering project management and execution.
• Knowledge of design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and similar tools.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to address and resolve technical and operational challenges throughout project execution.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
• Commitment to meeting project deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to manage conflicts and perform effectively under pressure.
