Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to manage and elevate daily procurement operations across local and international supply chains. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost control within a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

The successful candidate will guide the procurement team, establish KPIs, and collaborate with Engineering and Project teams to align procurement with project requirements and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in EPC, water treatment, environmental engineering, process engineering, industrial equipment, M&E or construction industries.
• Knowledge of project procurement and contract management.
• Experience managing international suppliers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead and manage the daily operations of the procurement department.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers locally and internationally.
• Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.
• Build and maintain a reliable network of local and overseas suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and contractual terms.
• Work closely with Engineering and Project teams to understand project requirements.
• Achieve annual procurement cost savings and analyse market trends and pricing.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, establish procurement KPIs and monitor performance.

About the role
