Select Group Pte Ltd in Brazil seeks an experienced procurement leader to drive sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization within the food industry. You will build strong supplier relationships, manage contracts, and align procurement with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, a deep understanding of food products, and demonstrated ability to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics or other relevant courses.
• Proven 5+ years experience in procurement or supply chain management within the food industry, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of food products, ingredients, and supply chain dynamics in the food industry.
• Experience negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing procurement processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with relevant food safety and quality assurance standards and regulations.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's procurement needs, including sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and prompt resolution of any issues or disputes that may arise.


• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, implement initiatives, and track and report on key procurement performance metrics.


• Conduct market research to source and identify new products and new suppliers.


• Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of food products and ingredients to make informed purchasing decisions and mitigate supply chain risks.


• Optimize inventory levels by implementing effective demand forecasting methods and maintaining accurate records of stock levels, usage, and lead times.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with other departments.

Requirement:

• Proven 5 years and above experience in procurement or supply chain management within the food industry, preferably in a managerial capacity.
