Account Executive - Marketing Cloud

The Marketing Cloud Account Executive sells cloud-based marketing products into a diverse set of commercial accounts across high tech and multiple industries.

As an Account Executive within the Marketing Cloud sales team, you will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned region. You will collaborate with existing account owners and carry a quota for Marketing Cloud product sales to drive revenue growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  1. Prospect and manage pipeline
  2. Develop partnerships in the partner ecosystem to generate new business
  3. Conduct initial demonstrations of Marketing Cloud capabilities
  4. Position Marketing Cloud products and services to enhance customer impact
  5. Negotiate and create product and service orders, contract addendums, and renewals
  6. Manage and develop existing contacts and create ambassadors
  7. Provide weekly accurate forecasts to sales management
  8. Create business plans collaboratively to drive net new revenue and ensure customer success
  9. Achieve net new Marketing Cloud revenue within commercial accounts according to the business plan
Requirements:
  • Proven sales hunter and closer
  • Experience in enterprise software sales
  • Preference for digital marketing (MarTech / AdTech) sales experience
  • Passionate about customer success and teamwork
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas, preferably in e-commerce, digital marketing SaaS solutions
  • Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain good pricing
  • Experience working with executives, VPs, and C-level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and experience with complex processes
