Account Executive - Marketing Cloud

The Marketing Cloud Account Executive sells cloud-based marketing products into a diverse set of commercial accounts across high-tech and multiple industries.

As an Account Executive within the Marketing Cloud sales team, you will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned region. You will collaborate with existing account owners and carry quotas for Marketing Cloud product sales to drive revenue growth.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
  1. Prospect and manage pipeline
  2. Develop partnerships within the partner ecosystem to generate new business
  3. Conduct initial demonstrations of Marketing Cloud capabilities
  4. Position Marketing Cloud products and services to enhance customer impact
  5. Negotiate and create product and service orders, contract addendums, and renewals
  6. Manage existing contacts and develop ambassadors
  7. Provide weekly accurate sales forecasts to management
  8. Create business plans collaboratively to drive net new revenue and ensure customer success
  9. Focus on winning net new Marketing Cloud business revenue within commercial accounts according to the business plan
Requirements:
  • Proven sales hunter and closer
  • Enterprise software sales experience
  • Preference for experience in Digital Marketing (MarTech / AdTech) sales
  • Passionate about customer success and teamwork
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing SaaS solutions
  • Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and maintain good pricing
  • Experience working with executives, VPs, and C-level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and experience with complex processes
