Job Description

This role involves collaborating with various partners across the organisation, including underwriters, IT professionals, business intelligence teams, and other actuaries, to provide the best pricing solutions. Develop rates and pricing strategies throughout the region for the different products of the A&H portfolio.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Actuary, Statistics, or Data Science
• 5+ years of experience in actuarial work, pricing, or analytics
• Ability to quickly grasp new information and make connections across multiple parts of the business
• Strong pricing experience, preferably with system-integrated pricing models; experience working with IT on system-wide model implementation and/or data restructuring is a plus
• Advanced data skills, with experience working with large datasets using SQL, SAS, R, or Python
• Programming skills
• Prior experience using Radar is advantageous
• Understanding of A&H products, KPIs such as COR, ULR, rate change, and their relation to profitability
• Ability to work with a broad range of partners, from technical to strategic
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak credibly about pricing and challenge constructively
• Proactive and meticulous, with a focus on the bigger picture
• Commercially minded with an understanding of ML and AI
• Willingness to be hands-on and work with data, while also focusing on people management
