The Opportunity
This position works at our São Paulo location in the Established Pharmaceuticals Division.

Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
As the Strategic Pricing Manager, you will analyze the impact of pricing and contract term decisions on deal and country profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement pricing plans for the organization’s products to meet established targets.
  • Contribute to business planning to develop a pricing strategy consistent with the organization’s overall mission, vision, and objectives.
  • Define objectives and allocate resources to ensure pricing is effective, economical, and appropriate for the intended audience, while still profitable for the company.
  • Adjust pricing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
  • Liaise with other managers to ensure activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Guide, monitor, analyze, and provide expertise on pricing and contract terms for acquisition opportunities.
  • Advise on deal pricing and contract terms for large and/or complex upcoming deals. Utilize Pricing Recommendation Tool to provide guidance and maintain price integrity; build a "comparables" database.
  • Leverage experience with past deals to provide expertise.
  • Analyze the impact of pricing and contract term decisions on deal and country profitability.
  • Track compliance of current contracts, including price increases and commitment adherence.
  • Provide insights, input, and guidance to country profitability enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop Pricing Strategies: Formulate and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand pricing trends, competitor pricing, and market demand.
  • Perform financial evaluations to assess the impact of pricing decisions on overall profitability.
  • Assist in pricing negotiations with customers and partners to secure favorable terms.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accuracy and integrity in all pricing matters.
  • Ensure all pricing strategies comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing strategies and their outcomes for senior management.
  • Continuously improve pricing processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to market conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in pricing management roles is highly valued. Essential skills include data analysis, knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, and strong negotiation abilities.
