Confidential is seeking an analytical Payroll professional to support payroll processes for employees located across numerous countries. The role emphasizes accuracy, strict deadlines, confidentiality, and collaboration with international colleagues.

You will process payroll in Brazil and across other countries, optimize execution systems, manage payroll records, and respond to employee queries. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, advanced Excel, native Portuguese, and advanced English are

• Advance knowledge of Excel.
• Native Portuguese (Mandatory).

Responsabilités

• Process payroll across multiple countries with in-country processors.
• Support and optimize payroll systems and processes, to facilitate data collection, calculation and entry.
• Review and approve changes to payroll records.
• Support employee queries relating to payroll with in-country processors.
• Design and prepare reports to support the business.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll COE, Finance, HR, Benefits team, 3rd party providers and employees.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security.
• Reconcile payments to statutory bodies and General Ledger files as needed.
• Study existing and new legislation; advise management on needed actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.

Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in Payroll administration and knowledge of payroll regulations, preferably in more than one country. In this role, you will support Payroll processes for employees based across numerous geographical locations and at all levels of seniority within the organization. We view people as our greatest asset and the production of an accurate and timely payroll is crucial to our relationship with our employees.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Processing payroll across multiple countries, working with in-country payroll processors where they exist.
• Supporting and where possible optimizing payroll execution systems and processes, to facilitate the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
• Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes
• Supports employee queries relating to payroll as they arise, working with in-country payroll processors to do so.
• Designs and prepares appropriate reports to support the business.
• Manages relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll COE, Finance, wider HR, Benefits team, 3rd Party payroll providers and employees.
• Ensures compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security.
• Supports required reconciliations with the Finance team, such as payments to statutory bodies, General Ledger files, etc.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information.

Skills & experience

• 2-3 years of Payroll experience in Brazil.
• An understanding of the principles of labour legislation.
• Experience of payroll processing across multiple countries a plus.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Appetite for problem solving and process improvement.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem resolution.
