Operations Manager – Cotia, SP

Position Summary

Lead manufacturing operations, maintenance, and process engineering, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in the plant. Responsible for budget management, operational costs, and capital investments (CAPEX), ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with standards and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
• Team Management: Lead and develop manufacturing, maintenance, and process engineering teams.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor and optimize KPIs, reducing waste and improving productivity.
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement Tenneco’s Operating System based on Lean principles.
• CAPEX Management: Plan and execute investment projects to increase capacity and efficiency.
• Automation & Maintenance: Introduce new technologies, predictive maintenance, and equipment improvements.
• Cross-functional Integration: Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure effective processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial management, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OPEX, and automation.
• Strong financial management, strategic planning, and cost control skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration; MBA desired.
• Fluent English and experience in the automotive industry are strong advantages.
