Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in NPI, Program Management, Process Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and project management capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and adapting to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, establishing project timelines and tracking milestones to ensure on-time product launches.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives and APQP methodologies to minimize risks and improve quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop and maintain manufacturing and quality documentation (BOMs, process flows, control plans, FMEAs, SPC plans, quality procedures) per customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement to enhance product quality, yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless product transfer and successful ramp-up.

About the role

As an NPI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful introduction of new products from concept development through to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, establishing project timelines and tracking milestones to ensure on-time product launches.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives and implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies to minimize risks, enhance product quality, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to develop and maintain key manufacturing and quality documentation, including BOMs, process flows, control plans, FMEAs, SPC plans, and quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement to enhance product quality, manufacturing yield, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain functions to ensure seamless product transfer and successful production ramp-up.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Program Management, Process Engineering, or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and project management capabilities.
